Be Human, Be Universal, Be Effective: Pathways to Human Rights
In Trento (Cadine), the firts United World Summer School.
United World Project, Comunione e Diritto and Sophia Centre for Research on Politics and Human Rights invites students, practitioners, academics and changemakers to the first United World Summer School in Trento (Italy) entitled: “Be Human, Be Universal, Be Effective: Pathways to Human Rights”.
The human rights summer school will focus on four main areas:
- obstacles to human rights implementation;
- the role of fraternity in realizing universal human rights;
- good practices which make the right to peace possible;
- good practices which guarantee the protection of human rights and peaceful resolution of conflict.
The school program will involve workshops, plenary sessions with academics and exchanges of good practices. The Call for Papers and the context to the Summer School are set out in the two documents below.
Deadline for submission of abstract in the Call for Papers is February 20, 2020.
