The AFAGO-SP is an NGO that has as its objective the prevention of marginalization of infants and youth, through socio-educational activities, assuring children and adolescents in need of their fundamental rights. It was founded in 1993. All of the current 500 families in the community have had their homes built, by means of friends and partnerships that were born with the maturation of the project, and through incredible experiences of providence that has never left the NGO. 2000 children and young people have been moved from the project in these 24 years, among them a large part have received scholarships that allowed them to finish education at the university level or vocational training courses.
