The video appeared genuine and corresponded with Associated Press reporting of events in the area.Rami Abdurrahman, from London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, said a colleague in Aleppo told him that Maasraniyeh was subject to a missile attack on January 22, which killed at least 10 people and wounded more than 20. Abdurrahman said the dead included five children.

According to the activist who filmed Ghina’s rescue, her mother was killed in the attack and her 10-year-old sister is missing.
