“Be the Bridge” is our next appointment and it will be in Jerusalem. The title expresses the object of our stay in the Holy Land from 24th April to 2nd May, where we desire to bridge people through cultural events in the academic and inter-religious fields. On 1st May, we will launch through a worldwide link-up the United World Week (1st to 12th May): days marked by fraternal initiatives aimed at influencing public opinion. The two international performing groups Gen Verde and Gen Rosso will also participate in the programme and will offer workshops and artistic events.

Why Jerusalem? As Youth for a United World, our greatest desire is to witness universal brotherhood in every place we are. Therefore, how can we forget Jerusalem? It is a city of contrasts and divisions but also the cradle of an ancient culture, mingling of peoples and religions and ever since its existence, it is called to be a city of peace.
