The golden rule is common to all religions and Chiara Lubich, foundress of the Focolare movement, has always encouraged the children of the world to put it into practice, in every moment of their life, until love flows constantly among them. It is this love without self-interest that the youngsters from the primary school of Roccelletta have discovered little by little and have begun to experience day by day.

Yesterday evening they ended the year with an experience as golden as the rule, in a show enriched by songs, thoughts and choreographies, curated by the young ballerina Ilaria Badolato. Parents, colleagues and teachers received the message of love from the pupils and they were able to see how the golden rule has entered into their daily life.

“For me the golden rule is love, loving Jesus in the other, loving my enemy. Many times it has helped me to help the other, to give something to make their life better, to find the light inside them”, said Sara. “The meaning of the golden rule is that desire to love that is inside my heart, that I feel in my heart always; when I help a friend or a relative, my heart is filled with the golden rule”, exclaimed Marco. Therefore, many tiny hearts overflowed with love. And this led to Paradise, as the children tried to show in one of their choreographies.

The desire to transmit the art of loving had overcome emotions and shyness in one show full of deep spiritual meaning, but also concrete, in which those who spoke were little men and little women, ready to make masterpieces from their lives.
