Polo Espartaco
Espri S.A. was constituted from the contribution of thousands of people who, inspired by the motto “we are poor, but we are many”. These many believed and believe that only a new economy, founded on the aegis of sharing, as opposed to unbridled accumulation, can point to a path of overcoming the economic vulnerability that affects millions of people around the world. To be more precise, these “many” to whom we refer are 3,932 shareholders who have generously invested in the construction of the first business pole of Economy of Communion, the Spartaco Pole. Today, 26 years later, the Pole is a living and pulsating reality of communion and circulation of goods. Check below some characteristics and initiatives that are part of the Spartaco Pole.
The Spartaco Pole is located in Caucaia, in the municipality of Cotia, metropolitan region of São Paulo. Its area comprises 47,000 m² facing the Bunjiro Nakao highway, route of an intense traffic of industrial and agricultural inputs. The Pole consists of six industrial sheds, a building with offices and a head office, with a cafeteria and common meeting area, in addition to its own water treatment plant.
