Socialisarte

Socialisarte is an Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica based in Florence.

We are operators of movement, theatre, dance and games who start from the centrality of the person according to an integral vision that enhances the recreational, sporting and expressive dimensions as well as relational and social integration.

Socialisarte believes that art and beauty can be tools for personal development and social integration. Art and beauty create relationships and unity through the potential and particularities of each individual. We aim to explore and develop the artistic/motor potential of individuals and groups, be they children, young people or adults, professionals or non-professionals. We organise and run courses, school workshops, training periods and work-shops in Italy and abroad. We conceive and realise shows and performances.

Art

For us, art is a tool for personal, emotional and physical development and integration, and we believe that it has the power to combine, in motor dialogue, experiences and backgrounds that are only apparently different. We look for beauty, appropriateness, quality of experiences and meanings in every action. Inspired by the idea of a united world, we have realised that the first place of unity is the body: it integrates all human dimensions. Even today, the school “dis-integrates” the intelligences, giving priority to the cognitive and productive aspect. Our poetic work integrates cognitive, emotional, spatial, relational and ethical intelligences. Above all, we seek to liberate the extraordinariness that resides in every single person.

From the individual to the world

It is in the relationship that each person finds his or her singularity. And also every group finds a particular way of being a builder of society: everyone is an active and proactive citizen, attentive to universal heritages such as nature, equality, peace. In this sense Socialisarte is committed to do its part, inserting itself in international contexts: it is a member of CID-UNESCO, it participates in projects to raise awareness on the theme of ecology such as the Global Water Dances promoted by Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies; in initiatives such as the March for Peace conceived by Dance Lad Montecatini; as well as in Prosocial activities (Salfi) in Europe, South America and the Middle East, and all the initiatives promoted by the UWP (United World Project).
