The Covid-19 emergency has affected preparations of the “Villaggio per la Terra” (Village for the Earth) event due to be held at Villa Borghese and Terrazza del Pincio in Rome, Italy, and this year set to open the world celebrations of the 51th Earth Day.
However, even as the current social and economic crisis makes anniversary celebrations difficult, it also puts into even sharper focus the urgent need to launch the message of solidarity and hope that this global event presents to the world.
So in this spirit, on Wednesday 22 April, together with its many courageous partners, the Villaggio per la Terra is transforming into a Multimedia Marathon called “One People One Planet”.
