America Centrale giovani emigranti

The event will aim to help identify the best practices and develop software platforms that allow to cross real-time data to generate more reliable statistics about this situation.

The preparation of the meeting will take place this weekend in Mexico with the contribution of the Foreign Ministers, José Antonio Meade, of Mexico; Hugo Martínez, of El Salvador; Luis Fernando Carrera, of Guatemala; and Mireya Aguero, of Honduras.

Within the context of that event, the Foreign Ministers of the region will talk to the Vatican’s Secretary of State, Pietro Parolin, and will discuss other topics related to the strengthening of emigration in recent months.

Social activists agree that the increase of the flow of people without documents to the United States, and especially children, is a result of the immigration policy of the country, poverty and crime in this area, as well as the need for family reunification.
