To promote for it, it is the association ‘A city is not enough Onlus’, in order to experiment and propose a model of welcome and integration alternative to that of the reception centers.

It is actually a pilot project that initially will take charge of 3 families, totaling 10 people.

A strong point of the project – explains Francesco Marini of AMU projects sector – is that the local host community will directly take care of the migrants and accompanies them in a gradual process of insertion, until their economic and relational autonomy. This will facilitate their integration and, at the same time, it helps the community to know about its new members, in a positive intercultural exchange for everyone. “

“Making home together” started in January 2016; and from June AMU also started promoting for it, and supporting it with its own contribution.
