The Pearl. In 2002, a group of professionals and some citizens of Junquito, driven by a strong social commitment, wondered what could be their concrete contribution to transform Venezuelan society.

Thus was born the association whose purpose is to contribute to the dialogue between peoples and cultures capable of promoting the values offered by the universal fraternity, such as solidarity, tolerance, equality, the recognition of human values and the common good, as the pillars of human development. The basic tool is the pedagogy of reciprocity.

They focus on three main lines of action: children and their learning environment and after school leisure time through direct initiatives; the follow-up of the parents in supporting the education of their children; and a feeding program.
