Sports, Health and Ecology | Care

Is there a word that can unite the topics of sport, health and ecology? Perhaps it is the word care, which comes from Latin and means attention, concern, solicitude.

The care of the environment, of the space without which we would all die. The care of the body through sport, which also heals the mind and human relationships. The care of illness, of frailty, of a wound through medicine.

Our April newsletter, in line with the monthly focus on sports, health and ecology, abounds with the word care: one of the most noble and extraordinary expressions of being human.

We talk about the care for the fragile neighbour in the work of Emergency that Michela Greco tells us about. A care based on equality, neutrality and an excellence that makes no difference between rich and poor.

We talk about the care for creation, more precisely the urgent need to return to caring for it, in the travels of the great sailor Giovanni Soldini. Encounters and reflections on the difficult condition of our seas, in the documentary dedicated to him and available on Prime Video.

There is the care of the youngest, which also means giving them back the culture of the environment, in the Strade Maestre: a school on the move, daily immersed in beauty.

For 20 years, Run4unity has been running, a race that has embraced the world every year since 2005, with the values of peace and universal fraternity. We could not forget about this important anniversary with an article accompanied by videos and testimonials.
