Dishes of Love (Feast of Saint Simon)

The activity consists of a visit to the village of Qasrouk, located in the Hasakah Governorate of Syria, where the Feast of Saint Mar Shimun is celebrated.
During the event, guests will be invited to share a unified traditional dish—Mamouniyeh, the region’s beloved specialty.
Participants are also encouraged to bring their own traditional dishes, creating a cultural exchange where everyone can discover and appreciate one another’s heritage.
Following the gathering, the youth team will visit the elderly in their homes, engaging in heartfelt conversations about past traditions and listening to stories about the activities and customs of earlier generations.
