PAS – Polo Accoglienza e Solidarietà
PAS is a network of associations, a strongly cohesive network, a heterogeneous network composed of territorial organisations or local expressions of national, ecclesial or secular realities, large or small, all directly or indirectly involved in activities to support social distress.
Who is a poor person? It is not easy today to define a poor person and above all to help him or her; it is a complex problem that requires the adoption of integrated models of intervention and therefore the overcoming of the sectorialisation and fragmentation of interventions.
Aware and convinced of this, in the spring of 2015, representatives of some associations began to meet periodically, to get to know each other, to exchange experiences, to share their own problems and gradually the mutual esteem and trust that are the real glue of the network in favour of the poor spread over the territory.
At first only a few associations, then others were gradually added until they became ten promoting members who, in September 2017, set up the PAS – Polo Accoglienza e Solidarietà (Welcoming and Solidarity Centre) association.
