Promoted by 10 NGOs from 9 countries, financed by the European Community Erasmus+, Host-Spot aims at spreading a culture of understanding and the promotion of human rights within a context of mass migration. Young volunteers based in welcoming centers in Jordan spent time with refugees fleeing from the Syrian and Iraqi conflict zones. As a result of these face-to-face encounters, short film clips were produced, conveying the personal stories of refugees, providing the public with more information in order to better understand the hardships and tragedies they had suffered.
