After a long journey, towards the evening, we arrive in Shiwakucha community. They welcomed us woth dances, music and a baptism, a typical ceremony that is done in special occasions in which every person receives a characteristic name given by the community elders, as a way of formally accepting you in their community.

After they prepared us dinner and then we went to sleep in the houses of the families.
Today instead of just being in the houses of the families we lived as part of them, doing their daily routines, eating with them, sharing their customs, etc. An interesting experience!

We concluded our stay in the skiwuakucha community with lunch and a fraternal greeting that was endless, all appreciative for the reciprocal sharing. Now we head to Baños, another city in the mountains. Tomorroe morning we shall depart for Salinas de Bolivar.
