Polo Solidar
SOLIDAR is the name of an activity centre located in Rotselaar, Belgium. A cooperative society (scrl) that gives visibility to the project of economy of communion, a specific form of solidarity economy.
Goal of SOLIDAR:
To offer a space to a number of enterprises that wish to undertake in the free market, in an ethical way, in the spirit of the economy of communion.
To offer a meeting place for entrepreneurs to train, exchange and reflect.
To give the opportunity, to the many people who have sympathy for the project of the economy of communion, to take part in it by buying shares of Solidar scrl. According to the statutes 30% of the cooperative’s profit is transferred to the international fund of the economy of communion. At present there are about 300 cooperators.
