Il compito è semplice: alle 12.00 (mezzogiorno) ogni giorno ci vuole 1 minuto per fermarsi a riflettere o pregare per la pace. In questo modo, ci sarà sempre qualcuno che farà #timeoutforpeace in ogni fuso orario in ogni paese del mondo.

All’inizio della guerra del Golfo, Chiara Lubich ha proposto questa azione per mettere in contatto tutti coloro che speravano e lavoravano per la pace in un mondo dove le guerre sembravano non finire mai. La promessa è un’opportunità per connettersi con le persone che in tutto il mondo lavorano per costruire la pace e ispirano gli altri a lavorare per la pace.

TimeOut has been practiced by thousands of people. 1700 ‘Living Peace’ International schools practice TimeOut for Peace at 12 noon on every school day.
